The Waco Auditorium’s theatrical seasons usually ran from November to April. After the 1900-1901 season, the auditorium closed for two weeks for the installation of vents and ceiling fans so a summer season could be added. However, the summer season was not a financial success. Due to the accrual of debt from earlier seasons, new owners purchased the Waco Auditorium 1901. The group called themselves the New Waco Auditorium Company.
