Monday evenings were set aside for home nights in which the house usually arranged a special guest speaker. Other evenings were spent in the common room socializing, sewing, candy-making, and more. Residents of the Rebecca Sparks Co-operative Home also went on hikes, had picnics, and threw parties. On special holidays, the women of the Methodist church provided dinner for the ladies.
