Both Jeffie and her husband, George Sherman Conner, traveled often in their work. In order to keep a close relationship, they wrote letters back and forth. Dr. Conner fondly addressed Jeffie as “Baby Face” in many of the letters he wrote. Jeffie faithfully saved the hundreds of letters he sent her.
