Saturn V compared to Waco’s twenty-two story ALICO building (both to 1/100 scale). This Rocketdyne, McGregor, TX, demonstration was done for an open house at the facility in about 1966. Saturn V (Rocketdyne engines for all three stages) was the launch vehicle for Apollo 11 that landed men on the moon on July 20, 1969. Work done at McGregor contributed to the exploration of space in the 1960s into the 1970s and beyond.
