Before finding his way into the music industry, Jarrell McCracken contemplated pastoral ministry. As a graduate student in Baylor’s Department of Religion, McCracken wrote his thesis on the faith recommitments made by youth at religious revivals. In his management of Word, McCracken retained a commitment to creative innovation as a way for people to hear the Gospel.
