After establishing Evangelia Settlement, Ethel Dickson returned with her family to Canada. There, she met and married a medical missionary and moved to India, where she lived until she passed away unexpectedly in 1915. Nell Symes remained in Waco, married, and continued charity work in the area. She volunteered with the Red Cross, taught Bible classes, and campaigned for funds for the Waco Community Chest.
