Burleson Quadrangle is framed by Old Main, Burleson Hall, G. W. Carroll Science Hall, and F. L. Carroll Library. The latter two buildings were completed in 1903, and they have also been used for a wide variety of purposes. Carroll Science Hall once housed the science department, but today it is home to the English department. Carroll Library has accommodated a chapel, libraries, and classrooms, but now it houses primarily special collections and offices.
