James R. LeBlond

A real estate salesman influential in chamber of commerce affairs, LeBlond not only conceptualized the revived Fort Fisher but played a major role in securing municipal and state support for the project. In recognition of his efforts, LeBlond was appointed as an Honorary Texas Ranger Captain in February of 1968.
