Cornerstone Monument

In 1940 the cornerstone from the Cotton Palace's main building was mounted on a slab of Georgian granite and given a new home at the apex of Lovers Leap in Cameron Park. Pictured is Albert T. Clifton, a long time director of the Cotton Palace and the 1922 exposition's King Cotton.
