Oscar Dugey received his start in baseball playing second base and outfield for the Waco Navigators. His experience gained from the Waco team established him as one of the best infielders to come out of the Texas League in the early twentieth century, leading him to a career with the Boston Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies.
