In one 1960 article written to familiarize the public with the chiropractic practice, Lemly argued that chiropractic would help cure the worry that came from not knowing the source of one’s physical pain. He cited the example of a businessman who, unable to find relief from traditional doctors, experienced relief after one chiropractic treatment which, in turn, relieved the worry associated with his physical suffering.
