Pictured here, Daryl Barrett, David Goolsbee, and Clay Terrell from the Urban Design Center Staff made these wooden molds that would assist in forming concrete letters around the fountain. At the time of the dedication, no inscription existed, but the circular bench surrounding the fountain was inscribed with the word “freedom” in different languages.
