Many children in Central Texas grew up watching Harley Berg’s wildlife show. In the late sixties and early seventies, young men in the area were drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, and they requested that their mothers send them tapes of the Harley Berg Show across the Pacific. Amid turmoil, they found comfort in hearing Berg’s stories.
