A Breath of Central Air

In the 1950s, the hotel was renovated again, becoming one of the few completely air-conditioned American hotels. The complete air-conditioning system allowed the city of Waco to invite conventions to take place at the Roosevelt Hotel, bringing in a great deal of economic revenue for the city.
