With one of the largest dance halls in the southwest, the Karem Shrine Temple’s galas, dinners, and dances attracted Shriners from across the state. In 1972, the Shriners hosted a Western Dance night in dance hall with over 500 Shriners, their guests, and many other freemasons unaffiliated with the Shrine.
